Apostille

For the use of certified translations abroad, a so-called Apostille or, respectively, an intermediate certification from the district court of Berlin is necessary. For further information please contact the District Court of Berlin, Littenstraße 12-17, 10179 Berlin, room 1603, tel. 030-9023-2218.

Certification / Certified Translations (Beglaubigte Übersetzungen)

As authorised translators, we are entitled to certify the accuracy and completeness of our translations by providing our signature and our stamp – otherwise known as authentication (Beglaubigung).

This authentication has to be differentiated from the one from notaries or citizen registration offices: we are not entitled to authenticate copies or verify the validity of documents. Certified translations can be used for official purposes in Germany. For use abroad see Apostille.

Sworn Interpreters (Beeidigte Dolmetscher)

We have been generally sworn in by the district court of Berlin as interpreters for our respective foreign languages for the courts and notaries of Berlin and as such we are entitled to work for courts, notaries, police, registry offices and other authorities as interpreters.

Authorised Translators (Ermächtigte Übersetzer)

Being translators authorised by the District Court of Berlin for our respective foreign languages we are entitled to certify the correctness and completeness of our translations (see Certification).
